Resumen

Dear Editor, We would like to share ideas on the publication “COVID-19 vaccine refusal among university students in Peru [1]." Padilla-Santos et al. noted that the acceptance of vaccination is important to stop the pandemic, but that this has been hampered by misinformation, mistrust, social movements of anti-vaccine activists based on conspiracy theories, and political order. They came to the conclusion that the performance of the health sector authorities plays a significant role in the attitudes of the population, and that the ethical and moral misbehavior of these authorities, among other causes, possibly result I including the younger demographic.
